Slinkachu
"The 'Little People Project' started in 2006. It involves the remodelling and painting of miniature model train set characters, which I then place, photograph and leave on the street. It is both a street art installation project and a photography project. The street-based side of my work plays with the notion of surprise and I aim to encourage city-dwellers to be more aware of their surroundings. The scenes I set up, more evident through the photography and the titles I give these scenes aim to reflect the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city, almost being lost and overwhelmed. But underneath this, there is always some humour. I want people to be able to empathise with the tiny people in my works."

Slinkachu is a London based photographer. He has a unique and clever style of photography, he calls it the "Little People Project".
Slinkachu's "Little People Project" started in 2006. It involves remodeling and painting train set characters, which he then places, photographs and leaves on the street.
He occasionally uses props in order to make the miniature figures seem life like and realistic, also making them more interesting and unique.

What I like about Slinkachu's work
I think that Slinkachu's work is very eye catching and unique. Slinkachu is an amazing photographer, there is absolutely nothing I dislike about Slinkachu's pictures. He uses the perfect Depth of Field in every photo, focusing on the miniature figure, which makes him look professional. He makes his photos unique by adding small human figure's which tell a different story in every picture.
This is one of my favourite Slinkachu pictures. It tells a story, maybe of a person that wishes he could fly or trying to fly. The distant building in the background are slightly out of focus, this makes the shot more interesting and more eye catching. Since the pipe, which the figure stands upon, and the buildings in the distance are both slightly out of focus, this shot has a medium depth of field. Once again, the photograph has the perfect amount of exposure.
Roy Tyson
Research
The style of Roy's work is very similar to Slinkachu's, he creates unique scenes using miniature figures. Often he uses everyday props to create a scene, designed to be fun and intriguing. Roy Tyson was influenced by Banksy because he likes the way he uses his street art. All of the miniature figures, known as Roy's people, are hand painted to give them that personality and charm he has in all his photographs.

First Take
My Worst Photographs:
My Best Photographs:
This photograph not only made it to be one of my best photographs, but is also one of my favourite photographs. It has a small depth of field. I love the way the light bounces off the tree, making the photo stand out. The exposure has been set slightly darker than usual, which makes the shot more appealing.

My Final Piece
There are a number of reasons why this is another one of my favorite photos. First of all, the photo has a medium depth of field - Blurring out both the background and the foreground of the shot. This photo is differs to the images I've previously taken, as other shots are focused on a little person, trying to tell a story but a crate trying to tell a story. A lost crate that was dropped from the sky, possibly?

My Final Pieces
Out of the selection of my second take, this is probably my favourite photo. It has a medium depth of field, so the photo is focused on the figure - Blurring out the foreground and the background allowing the viewer to focus more on the figure, the power spot. It has the perfect amount of exposure, making the photo look professional, allowing you to see what's going on in the photo. The photograph could be seen as telling a story of a miner at work.
The perspective of the photograph is very strong, as is the composition. The image tells a story - Maybe, a car leaving a car park or a car abandoned on the side of the street. This photograph is my second favourite photo, out of the second take. The photograph has a medium depth of field, and is under exposed to give a more dramatic effect. The focus point is only set on the windshield of the car.
Third Take
From this point onward, I decide to venture into my own take on slinkachu by introducing toy medieval warriors, dragons and dinosuars

My Final Piece
This photograph really stands out me. The main reason for that is the story that could be behind the shot. A story of a man about to have his revenge on the dinosaur that took his right arm or a story of a man trying to befriend a dinosaur. The photograph has been purposely slightly under exposed to give the shot a more dramatic feeling and has a medium depth of field with a focus point on background as well as the center of the shot.
